The Build & the Outcome
The build turned out well. I rode it for a couple miles back and forth on the neighborhood greenway. The Avid Shorty 4′s reminded me why I hate canti’s. I need to install fresh pads on the back and sand down the front from where they have formed a ridge. I’m thinking long term I’ll want to try out a ti seatpost to see how that makes the ride feel.
Riding it to coffee in the morning, I hope I don’t die due to the rear brake not working.
