Over at Bike Shop Girl I like to test out and watch analytics as a personal case study. I may chase after a product for review or dial in on content based from keywords and in coming traffic.
Over the past 6 months I’ve watched my mobile use for Bike Shop Girl change. It went from 75% iPhone use to now 36.67% and 41.6% iPad use. If you read Bike Shop Girl you’ll notice the layout has recently changed. This is due to the above stats – I want to be more mobile friendly, but more than that more design friendly. Why? 40.9% of my readers are on mac products. They want simple, clean and functional. Tying my social outlets, Instagram photos, Flickr and so on, is key to continue who I am into what Bike Shop Girl is.
