Spandex Anyone?

Been out of the loop as of late. Been riding almost daily which has been great. Work is slowly getting into a routine for me, which of course means riding is becoming more of a routine.

Got to take one more trip up to Boston to get my bike and wheels.. Hopefully in the next few days… missing the road bike. The Kelly is a great ride.. but long rides in the hot weather are longer than they really should be.

Starting to look up GPS units to make up cue sheets. I’m going to goto a store Sunday evening to figure out what I need.. and the features that are just wasted money.

Ohwell, it’s almost August guys.

I seem to be 0-2 with this poison ivy. It isn’t spreading too much, just a spot on my hand that wasn’t there. Or maybe it was and it never itched??

I woke up at 7:30am when my alarm went off, resetting it till 8:30am. I couldn’t sleep though. The itchy feeling was taking over. I finally went upstairs scrubbing with Dial, and then applying lotion to my legs and arms.

It sounds like I have it really really bad. I don’t. I’ve seen really really bad. I’m a wimp though. I can’t handle it.

Somehow I have found poison ivy.. Wish I could say it was rolling around with that girl —>
But it’s not. It’s from one of those walks with the pup.

I was in denial for the first day. Thinking it was bug bites…

It’s not. Its on my legs, a couple spots on my arms.
I think I have cleaned everything. Sheets, clothes, dog, and myself . Multiple times. Sheets don’t stay on for more than 48 hours. Comforters get washed. Dog hates all the water but whatever.

Let’s see if I can get rid of it.

ABC

My new shop is found in a strip mall. The mecca of all strip malls.

Within walking distance you’ll find Applebees, Bob Evans, PetValu, Safeway, Carabou Coffee, a skate shop, Sushi, Coldstone Creamery, Hair Cuttery, a walking store, Chippolette, and Atlanta Bread Company. I’m sure there are other things I just can’t think of them right now.

It’s basically an outdoor mall.

Now I went to ABC today for a Caramel Macciatto. I used to drink these things like water this past winter up in Boston. Caffiene, caramel, and warm goodness.

I didn’t mention for the past 2 weeks I’ve only really been drinking water, milk and tea. I think I had a coke a week and a half ago.

I got the shakes.

Good thing too cuz I had to work 2 hours extra at work.

Work?

I think my work schedule consist of M, T, W, F, S.

I could be wrong though – but I think that’s what my boss said today.

A Short Hike & Pictures

A few miles due north on Riva Rd. is my old high school Annapolis Senior High. They have great Cross Country trails, and some unused old mountain biking trails.

arsI needed to get out of the house and to work up a sweat. Fiona needs to get used to walking on a path without a leash… so off we went.

If you look close you’ll see some toads in two of the photos. Also my amazement with the red mushrooms. I’ve never seen them on that trail before, and I’ve probably run/biked it a hundred times in the past. Then again I haven’t been on it in atleast a year.
